EcoDough Recipe

This easy recipe doesn’t require cooking, so younger kids can make it. Simply mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl until smooth. Store EcoDough in airtight containers.
Ingredients
• 2 cups organic flour
• 2 cups warm water
• 1 cup salt
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 tablespoon cream of tartar (not essential but improves consistency)
Instructions
1. EcoColor Forgo chemical colors and create your own. Simply boil one and a half cups of water with the following ingredients until desired color is achieved. Strain and replace up to one cup of the water called for in the EcoDough recipe with the colored water.
2. Purple: fresh blueberries
3. Orange: turmeric
4. Red: chopped fresh beets
5. Green: basil
6. EcoScents Give your EcoDough nontoxic aroma-therapeutic scents by adding a few drops of pure essential oils to the dough, such as
7. Lavender
8. Lemon
9. Rosemary
10. Mint

How much of each ingredient do you use and roughly how long is the cooking time to get the colours shown in the photo? Do the colours stain? Does the dough needs storing in the fridge? How long does it last before going bad?
